URBANWorks on 12-14 November in Gdansk, Poland

The Conference gatherd the thirteen project partnes and local, regional and national authorities to discuss, exchange ideas and learn from each other regarding the Integrated Solutions for Sustainability Management in cities.

The event was very productive, the project spirit was excellent and the introduction of the main project themes and outputs to the politicians and top managers of the partner cities was more than successful. The spirit of Gdansk is what we need also in the future. The SUSTAINMENT consortium has produced leading edge results, politically supported sustainability management plans including communication and management strategies in the spirit of good governance.

The next step of sustainable development is feasible, here we come! The Baltic21 Lighthouse will show the way.

LIGHTHOUSE CERTIFICATE

SUSTAINMENT has been endorsed as a Lighthouse Project advancing regional sustainability by Baltic 21, a secretariat for the Baltic Sea Region within the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS).Image 2

During the conference SUSTAINMENT had the honor of receiving the Lighthouse project certificate, handed by the Baltic 21 senior advisor, Ms. Caroline Hoffmann. The cooperation with the Baltic 21 provides a wide dissemination channel for the project results and outputs, and it also strenghtens the interaction between local and national authorities in the Baltic Sea Region.
