Outputs

In addition to the toolkit URBANworks, the main outputs of the project are the individual ''Development Plans for Sustainability Management Centre (SMC)´´, that each of the partner cities have produced during the project.

In their SMC development plan creation, cities gone through several different stages, each building on the previous one. The training focused on the four themes identified as vital to SMC development: Management, Governance, the Project Portfolio Approach and Communication. During September 2007 the cities have finalized their SMC Development Plans.

These are the final documents of cities´ SMC plans (below) including texts for Governance, Project Portfo-lio Approach, Management and Communication. Additionally, cities have further revised their earlier texts and linked the texts created during the 4 training periods to finalize their ''coherent SMC Development Plan'. These documents some City Councils have already approved. Nevertheless each city´s work towards the establishment of a SMC continues.
